A Dose of Hope | March 2026

Greetings!

We couldn't be more proud of the hard work our families are doing! Currently, there are 21 parents enrolled in college classes. Some are packing and preparing to exit to move on their journeys. There are both kiddos and parents on Honor Rolls and nominated for The National Society of Leadership and Success. Plus, all the parents are juggling schedules, family life, and classes. Great job, everyone!

Do you know a family that is ready to make a change for their lives? Application season is open! A family must find someone to refer them for our program. Case workers for TANF/CYFD or other programs, case managers, therapists, doctors, pastors/clergy, teachers, or someone outside of the family who has worked with and knows the family well are good referral sources. Also, you can be a referral! Read some of our FAQs to learn more. Keep in mind, the adults in the family should want to be in school full time, without working. Applications are due Friday, April 10.

Here is what some parents have said during their first week at Saranam. We refer to it as Orientation Week.

"I am honored to have been chosen."

"With determination and support systems, I can do anything I want."

"I need to accept what is and let go of what was."

"I want to be a board member one day."
