Hi Hoboken!

It's springtime in Hoboken, which means we can finally bring the Library back outside! We kick off this week with our annual Egg Hunt Extravaganza, with four opportunities—all over Hoboken—for kids and teens to hunt for eggs and win prizes. Join us at Church Square Park on Tuesday and Wednesday; at our Grand Street Branch on Thursday; or at Mama Johnson Field on Friday. Eggs are available to find on a first come, first served basis. Return your eggs to library staff to win a special prize!

And the outdoor fun doesn't stop there—save the date for our Welcome Back BookBike Party on Thursday, April 11, featuring our first outdoor story time of 2024! The BookBike season officially kicks off a week later, on Thursday, April 18. Follow along at @hplbookbike on Instagram to keep up with all things Bookbike.

With spring comes showers, and the Library still has everything you need to enjoy a cozy, rainy day indoors! From vinyl records and portable record players, to video game consoles, and video games! Did you know the library lends out video games for the Nintendo Switch, PS5, and Xbox? Stop by to check out our new collection of Switch games for teens in our Teen Room!

We can't wait to serve you this season, whether it's outside in the park or in the comfort of your own home. Happy Spring!

Regards,

Jennie Pu
