Every spring, the Bronx Zoo bursts with energy and life. Your group will love exploring 265 acres of forested parkland filled with cherry blossoms, daffodils, and butterfly bushes. You can encounter over 10,000 animals, spanning 700 species. The zoo is in full swing in spring, and must-see exhibits include:
Children’s Zoo, where you’ll explore the walk-through trail, leading you through an aviary to the prairie dog tunnels, along a pond with wading Caribbean flamingos and playful monkeys, and to the farmyard - where you can pet and feed sheep, donkeys, alpacas, and goats
Congo Gorilla Forest, where you’ll immerse yourself in the African rainforest and encounter gorillas, red river hogs, guenons, and mandrills, plus 400 species of plants.
Nature Trek, where guests ages 4 and up can climb through tunnels and across bridges for a fresh perspective on nature.
