It offers free programming and resources designed to support community education and resilience around substance use & mental health.
988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline

Call, Text or Chat 988 if you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis.

The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline went live on July 16th as a national network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress.

Some important notes:

  • The Lifeline is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in the United States. 
  • The Lifeline is accessible via call, text or chat.
  • People will be connected to a trained counselor at a local crisis center closest to them. If a local crisis center is too busy to respond right away, the call gets routed to one of 16 backup centers around the country.
  • The Lifeline has a Spanish Language line at 1-888-628-9454. They also provide the Tele-Interpreters service to our crisis centers, which supports over 150 languages.
  • Lifeline Center calls are free and confidential.

Square One Community Resource Guide
The Square One collaboration team produced a Mental Health Resources list for the community.

It can be viewed and printed out by clicking the View/Print buttons. Hard copies are available at Westborough Senior Center, Westborough Town Hall and Westborough Public Library.
Translated versions are also available in Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese (Simplified), and Arabic.
