It's a new year and the squash season is in full swing! We are excited about all the upcoming tournaments and events for Squash players of all levels. Please read on to find more information and links to sign up.

We would also like to wish a warm welcome to Katrina Stevenson who has joined the Squash BC team part-time as our Programs and Services Coordinator. Katrina has been playing squash for about a year and a half but her enthusiasm for the sport is enough for a lifetime! She will be assisting with the website, social media, tournament administration and most importantly launching our Junior Pathway program. 2019 Canada Winter Games

The Canada Winter Games of 2019 will be hosted in Red Deer, Alberta.

Squash BC is looking to populate the Canada Winter Games 2019 committee. We would like to invite all interested members to sit on this committee to please contact Jordan Abney ([email protected]) the Executive Director of Squash BC.

The Canada Winter Games committee is a minimal 3-year commitment that culminates just after the games end in 2019. The committee responsibilities include: hiring a coach and manager, suggesting Squash BC policies amendments relating to the games, selecting a squad annually, selecting the team to go to the games and overseeing the budget, etc. This committee will usually meet only twice a year in the first two years and then three to four times in the final year.  Athletes participating in the squads and team will be U17 and U19 (boys and girls) at the times of the games. If you require any further information please contact the past chair of the committee, Mark Robinson, at [email protected]

Squash BC encourages all members to consider this invitation.
