General News

Freshmen and New Student Parent Orientation

Freshmen and New Student Parent Orientation night will be Thursday, August 11 at 7 p.m. in the Cafeteria. Used uniforms will be available for purchase, and any ties previously ordered may be paid for and picked up as well.

A panel of teachers, parents, and students will speak regarding programs and daily life at Delone Catholic. There will be a question and answer period, as well as current parents available to speak with incoming families on a one-on-one basis.

Back to School Shopping

Several of our teachers have provided a list of necessary supplies on their class webpages, so that families can take advantage of back to school sales. Please use the Class Pages Directory, along with the class schedule you received in the mail to find out what supplies you will need for your classes.

When you click on the specific class, it will say "click here for more information" in the description. Unfortunately with the new website it is difficult to read (we are working on resolving this!), so please look closely.

Anti-Hazing Policy
The Diocese of Harrisburg prohibits any form of hazing of or by employees, volunteers or students. Please click here to read the full policy, adopted by the Diocese of Harrisburg on July 1, 2016.

Main Office Hours

Regular hours (7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) resumed today, Monday, August 8.

MMS Parent Portal - IMPORTANT
In preparation for the school year, we recommend that all parents change their MMS parent portal passwords and not share them with their children.

During the 2016-17 school year, we will be introducing online forms for which your parent portal password will serve as your signature.  In order to prevent your student from giving permission or consent without your knowledge, it is important to keep your password private.

Students will receive their own usernames and passwords to the MMS Student Portal at the beginning of the school year.

Note from Instructional Support

All students receiving instructional support services should have received information from Miss Sneeringer. If you have not, please contact her immediately via email or call 717-637-5969 x219. Miss Sneeringer is also available if parents have any questions.

Reminder of Uniform Regulations

Delone Catholic recognizes the commitment you as parents have to your children by enrolling them in a Catholic high school. Along with tuition and other fees, uniforms are a large expense we understand can burden parents. In an effort to make the most of your purchased uniforms, please review the uniform guidelines in the Student/Parent Handbook  to prevent having to purchase new uniform attire.  All students in grades 9 - 12 are expected to maintain a proper school uniform at all times.

Prior to school starting, please take time to ensure our female students have skirts of appropriate length (no more than 2 inches above the knee, both front and back), and all students have Oxford shirts that properly fit (top button must be buttoned), socks of appropriate color (white, navy blue, black or tan), and appropriate shoes (click here to view the Acceptable Footwear Gallery).

We appreciate your help in abiding by these guidelines.
