Transportation Next Week
During exams, Pennsylvania buses will be pick up students at their regularly scheduled dismissal time (2:45 p.m.). Our Maryland bus drivers were communicating directly with student families regarding afternoon pick up on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Students who need to wait for a bus need to sign up in the Main Office and pack a lunch. Students will need to remain in the lobby until their bus arrives.
Last Day of School
The last day of school for underclassmen is Friday, May 28. Dismissal is at 12 noon. Students will attend the underclassmen award assembly, which will be live streamed on the school's YouTube channel, DCBN (Delone Catholic Broadcast Network). There is NO afternoon bus transportation for Maryland or Pennsylvania students. Please plan to make alternate transportation arrangements for your student(s). .
Last evening we were blessed to be able to participate in Baccalaureate Mass with our senior students and their families and tonight we will celebrate their graduation. As we close the chapter on the Class of 2021, we cannot help but get sentimental as our graduates embrace their future beyond the halls of Delone Catholic. These four years have produced memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. We will continue to keep you in our prayers as you take on the next stage of your lives. We hope that you will keep in touch with us; it brings us great joy to hear from our alumni so please don't be strangers!
Please join me in a final prayer for our graduates.
Heavenly Father, Surround those who are graduating with your grace. Bless them with hope so that they move into the future with eager and open hearts. Help them to put the knowledge, skills, and insights gained through their education for the good of all mankind. Inspire them to believe in the goodness of life even when faced with challenges and difficulties. As they commence with their lives, may they grow even more grateful and wise. Amen.
May God Bless You,
Donna Tompkins P '06, P'10
