Virtual Wednesdays UPDATE
Given the number of cases in the county, and no active cases currently at our school, we do NOT see a need for virtual Wednesdays in March. If the situation changes in our county or in our school, we may revisit this option.

Father Miller gave a poignant homily during our Ash Wednesday Mass about making small sacrifices during Lent. Our Spiritual Life Director Mrs. Kate Phenicie shared a list of ideas for some out-of-the-box ways to give something up for Lent. You can view that list HERE. I always enjoy hearing the students talk about what they are giving up for Lent but hope that we have instilled in them the bigger picture of using Lent as preparation for the celebration of Easter.

Stay safe and warm as we endure another winter storm.
May God Bless You,
Donna Tompkins P '06, P'10
Interim Principal

From the Spiritual Life Office
This week we look at the virtue of ALTRUISM - the strength to attend to the needs of others. Throughout our whole lives, we are in continuous relationships with others whether it be our family, friends or our teammates. We ruin our lives by being self-centered. We fill our lives with excitement and joy when we live with an other-centered purpose and outlook. This week, have a conversation with someone you rarely talk to.
