Another Shrine Mont Retreat in the books!
This past weekend Rev. Laura, her family and a wonderful group of parishioners went on our annual Parish Retreat to
Shrine Mont in Orkney Springs, Va.
We enjoyed great company, good food and fellowship at every turn.
We had fun sharing stories, playing games, fishing in the pond,
playing in the rain, swimming in the pool, creating art for our service as well as jointly picking hymns to sing and prayers to say together.
If you couldn’t join us this year, consider coming next year.
The weekend is a great chance to relax, have fun, and get to know
your parish family a little better.

Oktoberfest - Saturday, Oct 1, 2022
Our Annual fundraiser feels far away but is quickly approaching and believe it or not we actually start preparing this early! It takes many hands to help this wonderful event run smoothly and efficiently. If you would like to help with the Silent Auction preparation (for example: helping with contacting local businesses for donations, picking up donations, organizing incoming donations from parishioners and Day School parents, cataloging items, etc.) please reach out to Rev. Laura or Eileen Myers (Parish Administrator) to find out more. We will have a more detailed job list and Sign Up Genius in the coming weeks. Stay tuned.

Silent Prayer & Meditation
In the Sanctuary at 8:00 on Tuesday mornings
via Zoom at 8:00 on Friday mornings

Those who seek to include meditation in their weekly practice often find it easier to do so in the company of others. We light a candle and spend 20 minutes in silence. If you are interested in this shared prayer practice, email Lisa Richard at LJRRichard@gmail.com to receive the link for Zoom or to let us know to expect you on a Tuesday, in person. Come regularly, or come from time to time. All are welcome!
