Write for the Stage: A Playwriting Workshop
May 2 – 23, 2017 • 15 years to adult

Before the audience, the actors, and the directors comes the playwright, who fills blank pages with characters, dialogue and story.

Learn how to craft a stage play with playwright and author Marty Chan. Over the four weeks, he'll reveal his simple and easy-to-apply tips on writing for theatre.

For a young, aspiring artist, receiving an opportunity to take your talent outside a regular classroom can lead to amazing things. A special grant program in St. Albert ― the Lieutenant Governor Distinguished Young Artists Awards Program — is putting more of these opportunities in reach for youth in our community.
