The drive for medical supplies for Ukraine concluded this weekend.
There is still a little time to donate money toward the purchase of military grade first aid kits.
Please make your donation by Wednesday, June 22, at the Parish Office to Ministry of Care.

At June 25 and 26 Masses we will take up the Peter’s Pence Collection to support the Universal Church and the work of the Holy See, including helping Pope Francis to carry out his charitable works.
These works benefit our sisters and brothers on the margins of society, including victims of war, oppression, and disasters. Envelopes and information are in the narthex.
Please prayerfully consider making a donation to the Peter’s Pence Collection next weekend.

St. Emily Parish in Mount Prospect is hosting two summer programs for children in July:

Vacation Bible School and Totus Tuus.
Space is still available for both programs.

Participants will learn more about our faith through Bible stories, crafts, games, song and fun!
·        Totus Tuus will be held July 11-15
·        Vacation Bible School will be held July 18-22.

For more information about the programs, see Sunday’s bulletin, contact David Mitka at St. Emily Parish or click here
Make a Personal Retreat:

Loving as Jesus Loves, helps participants to think about the hope and love that sacrifice can lead to when we are open to God’s grace in our lives to help us to grow closer to our neighbors and God, as we actively choose to love others as Jesus did!

"Even the smallest sacrifice on our part can open up the pathway for God’s grace to enter into the situation, and we begin to recognize that with God anything is possible."

Feeling Spiritually Burnt Out?

  • Are you feeling tired and spiritually exhausted?
  • Do you feel like throwing in the towel on everything?

In this short video, Fr. Mike Schmitz offers us a way to evaluate our spiritual practices, service, and prayer based on our relationship, identity, and mission (RIM) to know what we can remove and keep from our Catholic spiritual life.
Updated with additional activities for ALL of June
May St. Aloysius Gonzaga, St. Paulinus of Nola, Sts. John Fisher and Thomas More, St. John the Baptist, Jesus in his Most Sacred Heart, and Mary in her Most Immaculate Heart intercede to God on your behalf this week.
Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
O most holy heart of Jesus, fountain of every blessing, I adore you, I love you,
and with lively sorrow for my sins I offer you this poor heart of mine.
Make me humble, patient, pure and wholly obedient to your will.
Grant, Good Jesus, that I may live in you and for you.
Protect me in the midst of danger. Comfort me in my afflictions.
Give me health of body, assistance in my temporal needs,
your blessing on all that I do, and the grace of a holy death. Amen.
Prayer to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
O Immaculate Heart of Mary, Heavenly beauty and splendor of the Father,
You are the most valued Heavenly treasure.
New Eve, immaculate in soul, spirit and body,
Created of the godly seed by the Spirit of God,
You are the spiritual Mother of mankind.
Pure Virgin, full of grace then and now,
Your whole being was raised Heavenly in full glory,
To be elevated above all the hosts within the Kingdom of God.
O Heavenly Mother, Queen of Heaven and earth,
I recognize the glory of your highest title,
The Immaculate Heart of Mary!
Loving Mother, dispenser of endless blessings,
You who continuously intercedes on our behalf,
Please present my need before your loving Son Jesus.
(In your own words, make your special request here.
Do not just mention a word. Speak to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
as you would speak to another person, begging your Heavenly Mother
to plea to Jesus on your behalf, that you be granted this special request.)
O Immaculate Heart of Mary, I know that you are now presenting my need before Jesus,
For you have never turned away those in dire need.
Mother dearest, I await your favorable answer,
Submitting myself to the Divine will of the Lord,
For all glories are His forever and ever. Amen.
