"A good school provides a rounded education for the whole person. And a good Catholic school, over and above this, should help all its students to become saints."
January 30th, 2019
From Mrs. Rowley

Catholic Schools Week is in full swing! Thank you to the volunteers who were our tour guides at the open house on Sunday, and it was wonderful to see so many of our students in uniform. Yesterday we appreciated our students with a dress-down day, ice-cream and an early release!! We will continue the celebrations this week - weather permitting!

Next week the second round of Scantron results will go home in the Wednesday folders. Please watch for them (grades 3-7).

The gala is fast approaching and we are really looking forward to a fun evening. Please note that there are still opportunities for volunteering. Please be a part of putting this wonderful evening together.

Please stay warm and safe in this wintry weather!

50/50 Raffle

The Gala is only a month away and the 50/50 raffle tickets came home two weeks ago in the Wednesday folders. Did you know the winner takes home half the pot and the other half is donated to our wonderful school? This week would be a great time to sell tickets to your neighbors, family, and friends as we celebrate our school during Catholic Schools Week.

Please return all sold ticket stubs (with full contact information completed on the back of each ticket) and collected money to Trish Konczal at the school office. If you need more tickets to sell, please contact Jen Charest at [email protected].

From the Editor

Please make sure to read the Buzz every week. There's a lot of great things in it. Also, turn in your submissions! Submissions are due by Mondays by 5pm. I accept submissions from teachers, staff, and parents. If you know of something interesting going on in our community, or want to give a shout out to someone at the school, I'd love to add it to the Buzz. I especially love pictures. Please contact Mrs. Rowley to make sure that we have permission to publish pictures of every student in the picture. Pictures need to be less than 5 MB. Thanks so much!
