" The most beautiful system of the sun, planets, and comets could only proceed from the counsel and dominion of an intelligent and powerful Being."
April 3rd, 2019
From Mrs. Rowley

This week our students are celebrating "Faith and Science" week. The purpose is to bring an awareness and celebration on the beauty of faith and science in the Catholic tradition; that there is no conflict between faith and science. We are learning each day about a Catholic scientist, enjoying daily science trivia, and we will end the week with "Faith and Science Jeopardy!" A fun and informative week!

Please keep our 5 th and 8 th graders in your prayers next week as they sit for the ACRE testing, an annual assessment of Religious instruction in the Catholic schools.
We are truly in to field trip season! We have upcoming trips to the National Zoo, Luray Caverns, Gettysburg, NASA, Philadelphia, and more! We are very grateful to our PTO for sponsoring these trips. They really enhance the education and experience of our students.

We are still collecting Box Tops. Please save these as our school can turn them into money!

From the Editor

Please make sure to read the Buzz every week. There's a lot of great things in it. Also, turn in your submissions! Submissions are due by Mondays by 5pm. I accept submissions from teachers, staff, and parents. If you know of something interesting going on in our community, or want to give a shout out to someone at the school, I'd love to add it to the Buzz. I especially love pictures. Please contact Mrs. Rowley to make sure that we have permission to publish pictures of every student in the picture. Pictures need to be less than 5 MB. Thanks so much!
