Yesterday we enjoyed Pizza Day for all of our students ,  thanks to the generosity of some of our parents who purchased this as an auction item at the Gala. Special thanks to Mrs. Sharon Driscoll for coordinating the event. On Friday we will have Super Day for grades 3, 4 and 8! Lots of fun activities are planned, thanks to the Social Committee: Mrs. Michele Robins, Mrs. Heather Terreri and Mrs. Eileen Bliss. On Friday we will also welcome Sasha Young, a former pilot who served aboard the USS Stennis! She will share her experiences with the students, followed by a Q&A.

Please join us on Thursday for our spring concert, beginning at 6:30 pm in the gym. Dress for this is a nice spring outfit, with no jeans or leggings. We are really looking forward to it. At the concert we will also elect new officers for the PTO Board. If you are interested in serving on the board please reach out to Mr. Phil Coady, our PTO President.

Our last day of school will be June 12. School office hours in July will be 9:00 am-1:00 pm.

In Need of New Buzz Editor

laptop_typing.jpg We are looking for someone to take over the position of the Buzz Editor for the 2019-2020 school year. It is a fun way to help out the school, all from the comfort of your own house. Being the Buzz Editor also gives you all the volunteer hours you need for the school year. If you are interested in filling this position, please contact Mrs. Rowley at [email protected].

From the Editor

Please make sure to read the Buzz every week. There's a lot of great things in it. Also, turn in your submissions! Submissions are due by Mondays by 5pm. I accept submissions from teachers, staff, and parents. If you know of something interesting going on in our community, or want to give a shout out to someone at the school, I'd love to add it to the Buzz. I especially love pictures. Please contact Mrs. Rowley to make sure that we have permission to publish pictures of every student in the picture. Pictures need to be less than 5 MB. Thanks so much!
