You can also access it from our website. Remember each family is required to give 15 hours in the course of the year.
Gala planning is well underway, thanks to the leadership of Sharon Driscoll. There are many opportunities to get involved with this wonderful event. Are you creative, artistic, organized, none of the above? Well, we can use you! Sign up or contact Sharon if you can help.

Can I send my child to school if he's not feeling well?
If yo
ur child has a temperature of 100 degrees or higher, body aches, and extreme sleepiness or is coughing, and vomiting, or has diarrhea you need to keep him/her home until he/she is free of those symptoms for 24 hours. Before returning to school your child needs to be fever free without the use of fever reducing medications such as Tylenol, Advil or Motrin to control his/her body temperature. This is crucial towards helping to keep down the spread of illness in our school. Also, if your child has been diagnosed with strep throat or any contagious condition please alert the Health Office ([email protected] ) so the school community is advised and takes proper precautions. Return to school should be upon the advice of your child's doctor. If antibiotics are prescribed - they need to be taken as prescribed for at least 24 hours after the initial dose is given before returning to school. We want to provide your children with a healthy place to learn. We need every family's cooperation and diligence. If your child is not really sick, but something seems off, please let Mrs. Earner in the Health Clinic know and ask her to monitor your child. Please send her an email ([email protected]).

From the Editor
Please make sure to read the Buzz every week. There's a lot of great things in it. Also, please, send in YOUR submissions! Submissions are due by Mondays by 5pm. I accept submissions from teachers, staff, and parents. If you know of something interesting going on in our community, or want to give a shout out to someone at the school, I'd love to add it to the Buzz. I especially love pictures. Please contact Mrs. Rowley to make sure that we have permission to publish pictures of every student in the picture. Pictures need to be less than 5 MB. Thanks so much!
