Staff Changes for 2023-24 School Year

We have exciting changes and updates regarding our faculty and staff for the 2023-24 school year! Please join us in wishing congratulations and best wishes to all!

Mrs. Springsteen has decided to grow her private education business called, "Classroom Concierge." She has been serving Christ at St. Anastasia for the past 12 years! She is also interested in teaching future teachers at the college. We are excited for her as she explores new challenges and takes her amazing teaching experience to new places and to unmet needs in our community.

Mrs. Barton is retiring from classroom teaching and is exploring a couple of new ways to serve Christ. She is starting a new business called "Brain Gains" and apply her experience and Orton Gillingham training by helping students with private tutoring. She is also wanting to get more involved in fighting cancer and supporting those who have cancer through the American Cancer Society and the Susan G. Komen Foundation. We are so grateful for her gift of faith that she has so generously shared with all of us for the past 12 years.

Mrs. Crull will be moving back to Ohio to be close to family. She has modeled excellence and has shared her knowledge and faith with so many children and families in her 7 years of teaching at St. Anastasia. We are so grateful for the gifts that she has shared with us.

Ms. Norton has decided to explore flexible work opportunities and private tutoring next year. She has been dedicated to serving the families and children in second grade for the past 4 years and we are so grateful for her service to our community.

We will miss these four amazing teachers! They have made a powerful impact on our school and on their community. We know that God will continue to guide them and provide for His school. With the input of our teachers, we plan to make the following changes for next year:

  1. Mrs. Stapleton will teach 2nd grade and will be the K-2 unit chair. Mrs. Metcalf will be the Middle School unit chair.
  2. Mrs. Flynn will return to St. Anastasia to teach 1st grade.
  3. Ms. Fadness will teach PE with Mr. Odom next year. All grades will attend PE together next year.
  4. Ms. Siringo will teach 5th grade (Language Arts and Religion) next year and will serve as the 3rd-5th grades' unit chair.
  5. Mrs. Kim Brown will teach 5th grade (Social Studies, Science, and Math) next year.

We are searching for a middle-school math teacher, fourth grade teacher, and a second grade teacher.
