Kindergarten News

This week, Mrs. Roberts’ Kindergarten students learned more about the traditions and cultures of Native Americans. The Native Americans would carry their infants and small children in a papoose so that they could continue daily life preparing for their village. They decorated their papooses with different Native American symbols and named their babies. Before leaving for PE, they put their babies to sleep while they listened to beautiful Native American flute songs.

Fourth Annual Building on Faith Gala - Save the Date

The Fourth Annual St. Anastasia Catholic Church and School “Building on Faith Gala” is Friday, February 3, 2023 at the RiverWalk Center in beautiful downtown Fort Pierce. God’s greatest gift to us is His love and His Son, Jesus, reflects that love. “The Greatest Love Story” is the theme of the evening, and we will celebrate God’s love for us and the love we experience daily as part of our Catholic Community!

Beginning at 6 p.m., the event features a silent auction, appetizers, open bar, a delicious dinner, live auction and much more! Again this year, the silent auction will be online at www.stanastasiachurch.org/GALA and bidding begins on January 28th. You do not have to be present at the gala to bid on the silent auction items! A preview of all the items will be available at the Parish Center after all the Masses during the weekend of January 28th-29th.

If you have any questions or need more information, please contact us at 772-461-2233 or ltrabulsy@sta.school

Attention Parents:

A very important part of the gala fundraising is your child's homeroom/grade's basket. We are asking each family to contribute to your homeroom basket with either an in-kind gift or monetary donation made through FACTS. We would ask for a gift of $20, or whatever you would like to donate. Here is the Google Form if you would like to donate money: https://forms.gle/oDxUcx5N6ZXcs9pq6.

New this year, all of the Homeroom Auction items will be on the online silent auction which is open to anyone in the public, not just those attending the Gala. Online bidding for the silent auction opens on January 28 and closes at 7:30 p.m. on February 3. You are encouraged to promote your homeroom’s basket to your family and friends, either on social media or via text or email, to bid it as high as possible. The grade with the auction item that gets the highest bid wins a Pizza Party! The deadline to donate is December 9.
