Here we are, worshiping in our homes due to Covid-19. The early church also worshiped in homes. The earliest believers never confused "the church" with a building, for there were no church buildings. In his letters the apostle Paul addressed the believers in a city, Corinth for example, as
the church in Corinth. Galatia was a region, and so the letter to the Galatians is addressed to the church
The children of the church in Corona (i.e.,
yourchildren) can also participate! During the six-week study they will create a lap book, which is a topical scrapbook made from a file folder. This week your children will receive the materials to begin their lap books on the letter to the Philippians. But why wait? Two of the activities are in the section below!
While we are studying Philippians,
Flat Paul will be traveling from one house church to another. If you would like Flat Paul to stop at your house on his journey,
you must sign up hereby Monday, July 6!
Matthew 11:16-19, 25-30 Jesus challenges us to hear the wisdom of God revealed in our children. He beckons us to lay down our burdens, refresh our souls, and take up his yoke. Perhaps the two ideas are related?
