John Maxwell, local actor and playwright

John Maxwell is from Pickens. He is an actor and writer, known for Oh, Mr. Faulkner, Do You Write? (2006), The Rising Place (2001) and Texas Red (2021).
John will perform a monologue from his piece Gethsemane, as well as a talk on the importance of art in a community.

Parish Picnic
Sunday, April 27th, 10:30am
This year’s Parish Picnic will again be held at St. Andrew’s Upper School campus. We’ll have an outdoor service at 10:30am (there will still be a regular 8:30 service in the Cathedral Chapel that morning). The picnic will feature live music, snow cones, and activities for children. Lunch is $10/adult, $5/child, with a $25 max per family. Bring a dessert to share and a chair or blanket to sit on.
