FORMATION

Dean’s Forum during Eastertide

Rev. McAbee will be offering Embracing Evangelism during Easter, a curriculum created by the Episcopal Church, starting April 12th.

Embracing Evangelism is a six-part digital course exploring our call to seek, name, and celebrate Jesus’ loving presence in the stories of all people – and then invite everyone to more. Each session features teachings on Episcopal evangelism, group discussion, and exercises to help Episcopalians understand the ministry and call to evangelism.

Dean's Forum is held on Sundays at 9:30am in the Parish Hall.

PARISH NEWS

Serve as a Stewpot

Shopping Assistant!

April 20th - 24th | standrews.ms/stewpotshop

Later this month, it's the Cathedral's turn to provide Shopping Assistants at Stewpot— there are multiple slots available in every shift, so groups can sign up to work together, and there are options in the morning every day as well as one Tuesday afternoon.

Volunteer with Meals on Wheels!

Make a difference in our community by signing up to be a delivery team leader. This opportunity to serve is crucially important... but not too time consuming or difficult. The commitment is 2 - 2.5 hours, one Thursday morning a month. Food is delivered to the team leader's home where the meals are assembled for delivery. If you are interested, contact Alice Skelton, 601-832-4324 or AliceMSkelton@gmail.com, and help us remain the Cathedral that serves its city!

Spring Fling

Saturday, April 25th, 5:00 - 7:00pm

At Hal and Mal’s. Join us for Spring Fling at Hal & Mal’s. This get together will be a relaxed, fun evening to laugh, connect, and meet new friends—so bring new friends! RSVPs by April 20th are strongly encouraged: visit standrews.ms/spring-fling to make yours!
