GOOD FRIDAY SERVICE (ZOOM ONLY)

Good Friday commemorates the death of Jesus. It is a solemn service that traditionally ends in darkness and begins a time of waiting for Easter. This year, join us online for a short 30-minute time of reflection that includes music and readings. You are invited to bring a candle which you can light and blow out at the end of the service. We begin at 7pm. This is a Zoom-only service. Enjoy this service from the comfort of your home.

EASTER EGG HUNT ON SUNDAY

Easter Egg Hunt

Come join us for our annual Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, March 31st after the 11:00 service, on our Playground. We’ll have Easter baskets for those that need them!

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY THANKS YOU

Thank you to those of you that donated candy, stickers, and small toys so that we have fillings for the Easter eggs for our children. We received over 1,000 pieces of candy. The Easter egg hunt will be following the 11:00 service this Sunday. For children who don't bring a basket we have some to share. Please meet at the entrance to the playground after the service. Thank you also to the youth group for "hiding" the eggs.

Thanks to the folks who came to help with the stuffing party: Nancy Ayers, Terri Berhman, Diana Graham, Leslie Harper, Erica Knisely, Shawnee Pinto, Linda Rowold-Brown, and Diane Toussaint.

Journey Into Wellness

1st Wednesday of the month via Zoom at 3PM (April 3rd)

Journey into Wellness will help you to be in tune with your body, mind & spirit, and to discover what is healthy/nourishing/necessary/pleasing/good as we age. Our health care (or achieving optimal well-being or striving for optimal well-being) is a journey no matter what stage we are in. It is always time to take care of yourself. Our time together will illuminate the benefits of pairing science and intuition into our lifelong healing practices and to discover ways to thrive emotionally, spiritually, and physically. The goal is to be able to ask yourself genuinely what you need and desire every day to be as healthy as possible rather than just coasting on autopilot. Join Chris Divin, Family Nurse Practitioner, and Donna Rutherford, Congregational Nurse, on the first Wednesday of the month at 3PM, via Zoom. Join us for a time devoted to self-care and support of one another in the process.

St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

ANNUAL IFTAR MEAL

During Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn to sunset, and the Iftar (fast-breaking) meal is a truly sacred and happy event. Every year, we have been invited to share an Iftar Meal furnished, served, and hosted by Dialogue Institute Austin.

This year’s Iftar Meal is scheduled for Monday, April 1st, 2024, at 7pm, at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church. The food is delicious, and you will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with our Muslim hosts.

Your whole family is welcome, but nursery services will not be offered. As a courtesy to our guests, no food will be served until the iftar (Sunset is 7:52pm), so you may wish to eat a light snack before coming.

Please RSVP with total attendees to Martha Cole at [email protected], and enjoy this inter-faith event.

iACT Hands on Housing Spring Blitz

iACT’s Hands on Housing utilizes volunteers and skilled professionals to repair the homes of senior citizens and disabled individuals who are living in deep poverty. Their goal is to keep homeowners safe and help them remain in the homes and neighborhoods they love.

St. Andrew's B&G Committee has volunteered to participate in the Spring Blitz, on April 6th, in place of their regular meeting that day. Join our Spring Blitz Team to help paint and do minor repairs at a home in South Austin,

 under the direction of iACT.
