A 10-Story Shift:

Historic News for the Episcopal Church

Big shifts are happening in our denomination.

Last week, the Executive Council of the Episcopal Church met at the national headquarters in New York City. The 10-story office building has been approved for sale as part of Presiding Bishop Sean Rowe's new strategic vision, “Our Courageous Witness.”

Unanimously approved by the Executive Council, his plan focuses on three core priorities for our church's national staff:

  • Witness: A Christianity Worth Proclaiming
  • Support: Capacity Where It’s Needed
  • Sustain: A Church Built to Last
