Dear St. Anne Catholic School Families:
It’s hard to believe that the first week of school has come to an end. The halls were filled with excitement and energy. In just a few days we’ve already begun the journey of learning and growth, from engaging classroom discussions to the new friendships being formed. As we move forward, we encourage our students to embrace, with gratitude, every opportunity that comes their way.
Our dedicated teachers and staff are here to support you every step of the way. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions, concerns, or simply want to share your thoughts. Our partnership with parents is what contributes to the great success of Catholic education. Together we can make this school year the most successful and transformative yet!
Congratulations to our staff members who were honored at our opening school mass for their years of service to Catholic education. Service was recognized in number of years that end in 5 and 0. We are grateful to Mary Carola for 30 years of service, Mo Jones for 20 years of service, Kathy Graff for 15 years of service, Tracey Bonini, Alisa Macora, and Cassie Rathe for 10 years of service, and Jacquelyn Blackburn, Cary Herndon, Angela Holden, and Jill Gregory for 5 years of service.
Thank you for your patience with our first few days of carline. We are grateful for your flexibility as we implement our new gym dismissal policy due to the extreme heat we are currently experiencing.
Looking ahead to next week, parents are welcome to attend mass on Wednesday and sit with their students in the general seating area. We look forward to having our parents on campus for our Elementary/Early Childhood Parent Information Night on Thursday August 24th, from 6:00-8:00 pm. Parent Information Night will begin in the gym with a short presentation followed by classroom visits with the teachers where curriculum and classroom policies will be shared. Athletic practices will begin next week.
Wishing everyone a blessed weekend!
With gratitude,
Kendall Shamas, Ed.D
Principal
