NO SCHOOL -Monday, September 4

See you on Tuesday!

Dear St. Anne Catholic School Families:

It has been an amazing start to the school year. The hallways and classrooms are filled with learning and laughter. We have witnessed many new friendships being forged and so many opportunities to be grateful as we settle into the rhythm of being back to school.

It was great to see so many of you at our Parent Information Nights. We shared a lot of information, and we look forward to seeing all of you at our many school events this year.

Looking ahead to next week, we will have picture day on Wednesday, September 6th. Our first round of NWEA benchmark testing will begin next week. These tests are to assess and monitor student growth during the school year and between school years. The data from these tests allows teachers to differentiate and adjust instruction to meet the needs of our students. While there is no preparation for these test we ask that all students arrive to school on time and prepared to do their very best.

September is filled with activities, including the first parent coffee meetings, our first Dad’s Club and PTO meetings and homecoming on September 27th. Please be sure to read the Crusader Connection to stay informed.

Wishing everyone a wonderful holiday weekend.

With gratitude,

Kendall Shamas, Ed. D

Principal

Lunch Program

Pizza Team News:

Dear Parents,

Pizza lunch served on Fridays has been a huge success and is our only PTO fundraiser. We had a successful first service today. We are in need of volunteers to serve lunch from 10:30 am to noon. It is a great way to see your child at school and even have a little time to join for lunch after the service is complete. There are no special skills needed and the time goes by very quickly. If you are interested in joining, please see the sign-up genius included. If you have any questions please feel free to email me.
