FRIENDLY REMINDERS:

Early dismissal of students is discouraged and should be kept to a minimum as instruction continues until 3:27 p.m. for all students. If you need to pick up your child early, you MUST pick him/her up in the school office no later than 3:00 p.m. Please allow 15 minutes to pick up your student.

  • School begins at 8am. Thank you for getting your student(s) to school on time.
  • Boys' haircuts should follow the guidelines in the Family Handbook (above the eyebrows, over the ears, and above the collar).
  • Boys uniform pants should be purchased from Flynn O'Hara.

Carline reminders:

  • Pre-K and Kindergarten students should be dropped off in RED line (closest to the school building)
  • If you can see the last blue cone, students should NOT exit the vehicle. Your students will exit with the next set.
  • Please pull up as close as possible to the car in front of you to allow for the maximum number of vehicles in the lot.
  • Carline ends at 4pm. Students not picked up will be placed in after school care.

Traveling Crucifix Sign-Up Link

Your prayers are essential to support those who nurture our children in all of the programs and activities provided by our school. The traveling crucifix is a school –wide effort to pray for our students, families, teachers, staff members, and volunteers, as they engage their daily work in education.

The crucifix will be presented to your family at the conclusion of mass. We ask that you return it to the school office the following Tuesday.

The Archdiocese of Galveston Houston has taken the nationwide lead on information technology with the program Smart Families Shaping Souls. The program focuses on educating about the manipulative practices utilized by tech companies that are resulting in the mental health and addiction crisis that is sweeping today’s youth. All parents in the parish and school are invited to join

Dr. Crystal Collier on October 2nd at 6pm, as she shares the research on how technology is impacting our brains and the steps parents can take to protect their children's God given dignity.

Lunch Program

Pizza Team News:

Dear Parents,

Pizza lunch served on Fridays has been a huge success and is our only PTO fundraiser. We had a successful first service today. We are in need of volunteers to serve lunch from 10:30 am to noon. It is a great way to see your child at school and even have a little time to join for lunch after the service is complete. There are no special skills needed and the time goes by very quickly. If you are interested in joining, please see the sign-up genius included. If you have any questions please feel free to email me.

CMG Safe Haven Training and Background Check

Required – CMG Safe Haven Training and Background Check

We are so excited about the upcoming 2023-2024 school year, and we are thankful for everyone who volunteers their time and talents to St. Anne Catholic School. The students, teachers and parents really appreciate all the hard work that is put into making all our events a success.

All volunteers and staff must be CMG Safe Haven trained to work with children within the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. Please plan time to take the online, self-paced, Safe Environment Course (CMG Connect). This course certification is entirely free, online, easy to complete, and valid for five years.

Click on the link below to register. You will not need to print the certificate since all your training completion dates are retained in the system. If you have any questions or need some assistance, please  email Elizabeth Dailey in the school office.
