Dear Friends and Families,

I am writing once again to keep you informed about our efforts to keep our residents healthy and safe, now that we have the first confirmed cases of the corona virus (COVID-19) in Michigan. Please read this letter carefully, share it with all potential visitors and join us in our efforts.

Beginning today , we are closed to all visitors.

Healthcare personnel such as hospice staff, medical providers and lab technicians will be allowed. They will be screened prior to entry.

All St. Anne’s Mead staff are being screened prior to reporting for work.

All of these restrictions are at the direction of our Medical Director and are being recommended by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Center for Medicaid/Medicare Services (CMS).  We will continue to follow their guidelines, which means that our visitor restrictions could potentially become even tighter.

This letter will be posted on our website, Please check there for future updates.  This is a rapidly changing situation and we all need to be flexible to accommodate those changes.

We will also email updates via Constant Contact . If we do not have your email address, and you wish to get email updates, please send your email address to Peggy Goodwin,

Thank you for joining us in our efforts to keep our residents safe and healthy.  We don’t want to be alarmists, but we do want to take this threat seriously. Our goal is to prevent the introduction of any of these viruses into our community, but we can’t do it alone.

On a personal note, I would like to ask for your willing cooperation in this effort.  It is not easy for us to ask you to follow these restrictions. Remember that we all share the same goal! We’re all on the same team!

Quick take-ways:
