A Message From The Principal

Dear St. Anthony families,

Next week we will kick off fundraising for the 3rd Annual St. Anthony Walk-A-Thon! Each student will bring home their fundraising envelope with their permission slip and donation tracking sheet. Please check their backpacks for this important envelope on Tuesday. Each student must turn in their $50.00 donation by Thursday May 1, 2025, in order to participate in the walk. All money raised will directly benefit students and be used to support teaching and learning at St. Anthony through our annual fund.

Students can collect cash, check, or online donations from friends and family and local businesses. The online donation link can be found here and on the St. Anthony website. Completed envelopes with signed permission slips and the 50.00 donation can be turned in each morning to the school office each morning.

There are four donation count days before the walk. Each day will offer an additional incentive. The first collection count day is Wednesday April 23rd. Students turning in their signed permission slip and $50.00 donation on the 23rd will receive a raffle ticket for a GIANT SQUISHMALLOW, Pajama Day Pass, and a Bring Your Stuffie to School Pass to use on a day of their choice. The second collection count day is Friday April 25th. Students turning in their signed permission slip and $50.00 donation by the 25th will receive a Pajama Day Pass, and a Bring Your Stuffie to School Pass to use on a day of their choice. The third collection count day is Tuesday April 29th. Students turning in their signed permission slip and $50.00 donation by the 29th will receive a Pajama Day Pass to use on a day of their choice. Our final collection count day will be Thursday May 1st, the day before the Walk-A-Thon. All permission slips and money collected must be turned in that day for students to participate. As an added incentive, the first homeroom to have all of their permission slips and donations turned in will receive an Ice Cream Sundae Bar on Walk-A-Thon day AND the top contributing student will earn the top prize Principal for the Day!!

On the day of the Walk-A-Thon, Friday May 2, 2024. Students will attend school for a full day. Each registered student will receive a Walk-A-Thon t-shirt and may be out of uniform that day, wearing appropriate shorts or sweatpants for walking and comfortable tennis shoes. We will walk in the morning, and have a picnic lunch with games and inflatables in the park during recess. Students who do not raise the required 50.00 donation will not participate in the walk and will be given alternate educational activities during that time.

Thank you for supporting our St. Anthony Spartans! For questions regarding the walk contact Adela Perez at aperez@stanthonyindy.org or you can call the school office at 317-636-3739

As always, don’t forget to do your homework, go to church on Sunday, and remember who we are - we are St. Anthony Spartans.

Love and light,

Mrs. Schepers

Sra. Schepers
