Dear St. Anthony families,
At St. Anthony Catholic School, we know that families and schools are partners in a child’s success. One of the most important ways we can work together is by making regular school attendance a priority. When students are here each day, they are learning, growing, building friendships, participating in classroom activities, and developing the routines and the confidence they need to be successful. Every school day is an opportunity that we don’t want our students to miss!
We completely understand that children get sick and sometimes an absence is unavoidable. When your child needs to be home, please continue to communicate with the school and provide any required documentation. Some reminders About attendance - Indiana has specific attendance requirements, and schools are required to closely monitor and report student attendance. As absences begin to add up, families may be contacted to discuss how we can work together to support consistent attendance and student success. Please remember that a doctor's note does not remove an absence from a student's attendance record.
Let's Work Together! Our goal isn't simply to count days—it is to make sure every child has the opportunity to be in the classroom, learning and growing with their teachers and classmates.
Thank you for helping your child arrive at school every day, on time, and ready to learn. Your partnership makes a tremendous difference!
Thank you,
Mrs. Schepers
