Message From The Principal

Dear St. Anthony Families,

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! Our Back to School Supply Drop Off will be Wednesday 8/5 3-5pm. Please note the format will start with New Families ONLY 3:00-3:30 in the Gym. Returning Families are welcome to join us from 3:30-5:00 for Classroom visits & Uniform Sales.

Please join me in welcoming our new Assistant Principal, Mr. Andy Maxson. Mr. Maxon is joining us from St. Lawrence Catholic School and we are very excited to be adding him to our team! Congratulations to former Assistant Principal, Mr. Jonathan Grismore as he transitions into his new role of Director of Academics for WDUCS. We are very excited to have his support in this new role and look forward to still having him in the building next year. St. Anthony is still looking to hire a few additional teachers for next school year. If you know of anyone who would be interested please have them contact Mrs. Schepers.

Just a few reminders, students have required summer homework. All of our required summer homework was distributed to student at the end of last school year. Copies can be picked up from the main office prior to the first day of school.All completed work is due on the 1st day of school, August 10th, 2026. Students who bring their completed packet to supply drop off will be entered into classroom drawings.

School supply lists are available online and in our weekly newsletter as well as the complete school year calendar. Finally, remember that the First Day of School is Monday August 10, 2026 (1:30 dismissal) as well as our regular 1:30 dismissal every Wednesday.

¡Bienvenidos al año escolar 2026-2027! La entrega de útiles escolares se llevará a cabo el miércoles 5 de agosto, de 3:00 p. m. a 5:00 p. m. Tengan en cuenta que la actividad comenzará **solo** para las familias nuevas, de 3:00 p. m. a 3:30 p. m., en el gimnasio. Las familias que ya forman parte de la escuela pueden acompañarnos de 3:30 p. m. a 5:00 p. m. para visitar las aulas y comprar uniformes.

Por favor, acompáñenme a dar la bienvenida a nuestro nuevo subdirector, el Sr. Andy Maxson. El Sr. Maxson se incorpora a nuestro equipo proveniente de la escuela católica St. Lawrence; ¡estamos muy entusiasmados de contar con él! Felicidades también al anterior subdirector, el Sr. Jonathan Grismore, quien asume su nuevo cargo como Director Académico de WDUCS. Nos alegra mucho contar con su apoyo en esta nueva función y esperamos seguir viéndolo en la escuela el próximo año. St. Anthony todavía busca contratar a algunos maestros adicionales para el próximo ciclo escolar. Si conocen a alguien interesado, por favor pídanle que se comunique con la Sra. Schepers.

Algunos recordatorios importantes: los estudiantes tienen tareas de verano obligatorias. Todo el material de estas tareas se entregó a los alumnos al finalizar el año escolar anterior. Se pueden recoger copias en la oficina principal antes del primer día de clases. Todos los trabajos completados deben entregarse el primer día de clases, el 10 de agosto de 2026. Los estudiantes que lleven su paquete de tareas terminado el día de la entrega de útiles participarán en sorteos dentro de sus aulas.

Por último, recuerden que el primer día de clases es el lunes 10 de agosto de 2026 (con salida a la 1:30 p. m.), y que todos los miércoles tendremos el horario habitual de salida a la 1:30 p. m.
