Message From The Principal

Dear St. Anthony Families,

This week our classrooms have been filled with focus, determination, and encouragement as our students and teachers completed the Indiana IREAD assessment. I am incredibly proud of the hard work happening at every grade level. Our teachers have been intentional and thoughtful in their instruction, and our students are rising to the challenge with perseverance and positive attitudes.

We are excited to see the growth each child has made this year and look forward to celebrating those who reach proficiency. At the same time, we recognize that standardized tests do not measure all of the incredible skills, talents, creativity, leadership, faith, and character our students demonstrate each day. A single test score never defines a child’s worth or potential.

For students who may not pass this time, please know we will continue to work closely with them and provide the support and future opportunities needed for retesting and success. Growth is a journey, and we are committed to walking that journey together.

To celebrate everyone’s effort and doing their very best, we will host an IREAD Ice Cream Party next week! Thank you to all of the parents who have generously donated items to help make this celebration special. Your partnership and support mean so much to our school community.

Thank you for encouraging your children and for being such an important part of their success.

Don’t forget to do your homework, to go to church on Sunday, and remember who we are, we are St. Anthony Spartans.

Love and Light,

Mrs. Schepers

Amor y Luz,

Sra. Schepers
