A Message From The Principal

Dear St. Anthony Families,

Hispanic Heritage Day is one of my favorite celebrations of the school year. The building comes alive with rich traditions, love, laughter, and lots of candy! Each class participates in the day by making a pinata design to be voted on by the whole school. Parents can contribute to pinatas by donating bags of candy. One large bag of candy = one family service hour.

We will be filling 10 pinatas so we will need a lot of candy! In addition to Pinatas we will have a day full of celebrations. Parents with Safe Parish Certification can volunteer for various activities that day through the PTO. Please contact Diana Segura if you are interested in volunteering. Thank you for helping make Hispanic Heritage Day a success!

Don’t forget to do your homework, go to church on Sunday, and remember who we are, we are St. Anthony Spartans.

Estimadas familias de St. Anthony:

El Día de la Herencia Hispana es una de mis celebraciones favoritas del año escolar. La escuela se llena de vida con ricas tradiciones, amor, risas y ¡muchos dulces! Cada clase participará en el día haciendo un diseño de piñatas para que toda la escuela vote por él. Los padres pueden apoyar con las piñatas donando bolsas de dulces. Una bolsa grande de dulces les contara como una hora de servicio familiar.

Llenaremos 10 piñatas, ¡así que ocuparemos muchos dulces! Además de las piñatas, tendremos un día lleno de celebraciones. Los padres con Parroquia Segura pueden ofrecerse como voluntarios para diversas actividades ese día a través de la Asociación de Padres y Maestros (PTO). Si les interesa ser voluntarios, por favor, contacten a Diana Segura. ¡Gracias por ayudarnos a que el Día de la Herencia Hispana sea un éxito!

No olviden hacer sus tareas, ir a la iglesia el domingo y recordar quiénes somos: somos Espartanos de St. Anthony.
