Congratulations!

Congratulations to all who received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion last Saturday!

The celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation
will take place on
Saturday May 21 at 11 am.
This will take place at the Cathedral of Saint Joseph in Hartford.

Health Needs Assessment

The Health Ministry at St. Anthony is excited to consider expanding services to include educational sessions. We need your input.
by May 27th.
We hope to gather information this spring so that we can plan for the fall of 2022 and spring of 2023.

Cow Chip Raffle Tickets

The Knights of Columbus Cow Chip Raffle will take place on Saturday, June 18th. Tickets are $5.00 each. 
Look for the Knights in the back of the church
after each Mass. Please support the Knights in this
fun-filled fundraiser.

Support Ukraine

What can we do about the suffering from war? We can pray and we can offer donations to those in need. Recite this prayer, or one of your liking, daily.

If you would like to make a donation to support affected families in Ukraine, please use this link, or contribute to the Knights of Columbus Ukraine Solidarity fund. If you would like to contribute to the Solidarity fund by check, please make it payable to "Knights of Columbus Charities, Inc." and write "Ukraine Solidarity Fund" in the memo line. Then, please mail your check to: Knights of Columbus Charities, Inc., P.O. Box 1966, New Haven, CT, 06510-1966. (More information can be found here.

With these donations, CRS will provide safe shelter, hot meals, hygiene supplies, and more to our Ukrainian brothers and sisters.

Volunteer Opportunities

  • We are looking for volunteers for the following miscellaneous projects:
  • Put a fence in a section of fence at Father’s house
  • Patch a crack in a low ceiling at the Church
  • Replace the ramp and build a step in the Church storage barn
The Health Ministry would like to begin offering blood pressure screenings after Mass again.
If you are a healthcare professional and willing to give 15 minutes of your time after Mass once a month, please contact the Parish Center at (203)758-4056. In the past, blood pressure screenings were offered on the second Sunday of the month

Religious Education is in full swing, and students have been busy!

LaBonne's Cash for Charities Rebate Program
  • Please save your LaBonne's cash register receipts. (Keep an envelope in your car to easily save them)
  • Every couple of months submit them to St. Anthony Church, via the mail or by dropping them off at the parish center. We will receive 1/2% back. 
  • You can put your receipts in the Parish Center mailbox, in the collection boxes or mail them to 4 Union City Rd, Prospect, CT.
  • Thank you to everyone who has been sending in their slips, keep them coming!


Please consider using online giving for your financial support.
The consistency from online giving is very helpful over vacation periods. You may still use your envelopes and mark “I gave online”.
