VIRTUS TRAINING

Tuesday, November 23

VIRTUS Protecting God's Children Adult Awareness Session is a three-hour training that helps clergy, staff, volunteers, and parents to understand the facts and myths about child sexual abuse; how perpetrators operate; and how caring adults can take five important steps to keep children safe. The Archdiocese mandates all staff and volunteers who work in any capacity with or around children, the elderly, or people with special needs to complete this initial three-hour course.

We are providing a free VIRTUS three-hour training course tonight Tuesday, November 23, from 7-10PM in the Parish Hall. Walk-ins accepted. Please call our Parish Office at (818) 888-8200 for any questions.

ADOPT A FAMILY

St. Bernardine's Parish is participating in the Adopt A Family Program with the Guadalupe Center. The center is requesting donations for their annual Christmas program. Our parishioners have been major contributors for the past 30 years providing needy families and homeless people with gift cards so that they can have a merry Christmas. Toys (ages 5-12) are also requested for the children's Christmas Party.

A table will be set up in front of the church after the Masses on 11/28, 12/5, and 12/12 to provide information and to collect any toys, gift cards, or monetary donations. Donations can also be dropped off in the Parish office. Please make any checks out to: Guadalupe Center. Thank you in advance for your support!
