April 20, 2021
As we approach the end of the year, the Task Force would like to update you regarding our planning over the next few months. We are currently offering summer programming called Treasured for all parish children ages 4, 5 and 6. Treasured is a faith-based camp to make friends and discover that you are God’s greatest treasure through bible stories, music, crafts and outdoor games.
We are also still in the design process for a Summer Booster Camp for grades K - 4 and 5 - 8 that will take place in August. Due to staff availability there will be a limited number of spots available. Details will be released in the near future. For all students, each team will prepare summer assignments which may include regular activities for reading, math, religion, science, and social studies.
Next, we would like to ask you for your feedback to help the Task Force with future planning. To gain parent perspective, below is a survey that we are asking for you to complete by Wednesday, April 28th. Using your feedback and the most current health department and/or CDC guidelines, we will be evaluating learning spaces, student groupings, protocols, staffing and programming.
Thank you for your confidence in our task force as we plan for the 2021-2022 school year. We will continue to communicate regularly and with more details as our plans continue to develop. Msgr. Hendricks and the school staff are committed to holding true to the mission of the Church: to fully support families in caring for their children and in educating them in the Catholic faith while providing academic excellence and social and emotional support.
Please continue to pray for our school community and for each other.
