Annual Fund - October 24, 2023

2023 - 2024 Annual Fund Kick-Off: 1st Down, Long to Go!

We are excited to kick off the 2023-2024 St. Cecilia Catholic School Annual Fund! The Annual Fund is St. Cecilia’s yearly campaign to raise unrestricted funds for our school’s operating budget. Gifts received from this appeal help us narrow the difference between tuition and the actual cost of a St. Cecilia Catholic School education. A successful Annual Fund campaign also allows the school to address needs as they arise.

Last school year, the Annual Fund raised over $158,000! The improvements made both in and around our school campus this summer - security enhancements, the new classroom updates and classroom furniture, re-done Gym floor, updated Cafeteria, netting on the field, and the new PA system would not have been possible without the continuous generosity of our current parents, grandparents, alumni, faculty & staff, corporations, and parishioners.

As one of our most important revenue streams, gifts to the Annual Fund this year will support essentially every aspect of the school, including but not limited to:

  • Ongoing security enhancements, including a full-time armed officer patrolling campus each school day
  • Student-centered classroom resources for enhanced teaching and learning
  • Student financial assistance
  • Annual facility upgrades
  • Innovative technology improvements
  • Professional development opportunities for faculty and staff

This cumulative giving report highlights the continued generosity, support, and dedication to our mission we have received from our school parents, grandparents, faculty & staff, parishioners, community members, and friends. All of which have allowed us to reach new heights, and we are excited to share our progress.

Meet Our Annual Fund Chairs!

We are honored to have Desirae and Robert Regueiro chair this year’s Annual Fund. Desirae and Robert, alongside a strong team of grade-level Class Captains, are ready to serve our school community by helping us reach our Annual Fund goal of $200,000 with 100% participation from our current school families.

“The community at St. Cecilia has provided our family with countless opportunities to grow in our faith, expand our children's knowledge, and establish relationships with others that last a lifetime. These opportunities would not be available to our community if it weren't for the generous families that support the mission by contributing to the Annual Fund. We support the Annual Fund because it provides our community with additional resources and flexibility to address every aspect of school life while providing opportunities that will directly impact the academic and spiritual growth of all children at St. Cecilia.” - Desirae and Robert Regueiro, ‘23-24 Annual Fund Chairs

How much should we give in support of the Annual Fund?

We understand that some families can give more and some cannot provide as much to this campaign. Your participation is greatly appreciated at whatever amount is right for your family. We ask those who can give more to prayerfully consider making a Leadership Gift of $1,000 or more.

We strive for 100% participation from our school families. Why 100%? In addition to demonstrating the commitment our community has to the mission of St. Cecilia Catholic School, 100% participation in the Annual Fund is seen as a positive indicator and greatly improves our chances of qualifying for additional funding through grants and charitable foundations.
