Teacher Appreciation Week - Thank You!
Thank you to our school HSA and the Teacher Appreciation Week Committee (the #GOAT committee) for a great Teacher Appreciation Week over these last few days. Thank you specifically to Danielle Deavers, Desirae Regueiro, Lauren Keys, Sam Schmella, Stefanie Lyons, and Yael Realpozo for the “Our Teachers are the Greatest of All Time #GOAT” theme and for having so much fun with it. Nobody will ever forget Goat Yoga yesterday, or all the other fun things – the coffee bar, charcuterie cups, breakfast tacos, and today’s lunch from Dish Society (and naturally the chicken pesto sandwich which of course comes with #GOAT cheese). Thank you!

All students will be able to participate in Field Day - a free lunch (individually boxed) will be brought to all students, and all students will be able to play games, go on inflatables and rides for no cost.

To help offset the cost of Field Day, HSA is asking for parents to contribute a "Flat Fee" per student - though this is not required. Families who contribute by paying the flat fee will receive a Field Day t-shirt for their student(s).

School Supplies: 2021 – 2022 Year
Use this simple process to order pre-packaged supplies through EPI. Supplies will be sent to the school and delivered to your child’s classroom before school starts.

Our teachers have taken the time to select grade-specific items for the supply packs. Each supply pack is discounted for bulk purchasing. By purchasing these packs through EPI, our HSA receives $10 per pack. These funds are used to provide many programs for the students. Thank you for supporting our HSA with your purchase.

Online ordering through EPI will be available until June 13th.

St. Cecilia Day of Service - Friday, May 14th
Friday, May 14th will be St. Cecilia Catholic School’s Third Annual Day of Service. The Faith in Action Committee will be coordinating the assembling of items to make lunch sacks and toiletry kits for the Memorial Assistance Ministries and blessing bags for us to distribute.  We will start the day off with Mass at 8:15AM (in person or virtual) and then will gather at the school afterward (around 9:15 am or 9:30 am). Please use this link to register your family (adult supervision is required) for the Day of Service by May 12th.

Further, we are asking each grade to bring in specific items for the sacks, kits, and bags starting on May 10th. Students can bring the items in their backpacks. Each classroom will have a box set up to collect the items. We are not asking for a set number of items; we will make however many sacks, kits, and bags that we have items for and will donate whatever we have leftover.
Click here to see the items each grade is being asked to bring in.

If you have any questions, please contact Kim Leo at KimmyB321@aol.com or 956-494-6367.

Booster Club Athletic Awards 2021
The St. Cecilia Catholic School Booster Club is excited to announce that we will be able to hold in-person awards ceremonies for our school sports programs this year. With current COVID protocols in place and still some capacity limits for indoor and outdoor spaces, this will be different than what we’ve done in the past – we won’t be in the Community Center, but outdoors on the school Pavilion in a more relaxed environment.

  • Monday, May 17th at 6PM: Cheerleading, Football, Baseball, & Softball
  • Wednesday, May 19th at 6PM: Soccer, Tennis, & Track

Please click here to fill out the online RSVP form to attend either one or both nights for this year's Booster Club Athletic Awards.

Dinner will be provided for all attendees. Please bring your own camp chairs and coolers with drinks. There is no fee to attend for adults or students. While we realize some families will need to attend both nights, this was the best way possible for us to have this event in person to honor the students.
