Weekly Insider - April 15, 2021
Spring Branch 2021 – 2022 Mask Mandate Announcement
We are aware that earlier today, Spring Branch ISD communicated to their parents that they anticipate not having a mask mandate for the 2021 – 2022 school year. In regard to COVID protocols, St. Cecilia Catholic School follows the guidance of the Texas Conference of Catholic Bishops Education Department and the Catholic Schools Office and does not follow the protocols of the public school districts. In regard to next school year, while we are working on many plans, at this time we do not have any changes in guidance regarding COVID protocols changes for next year. When and if there are changes to COVID protocols for next school year, we will certainly communicate those to our families.
IOWA and CogAt Testing start on Monday, April 19th for Kinder-8th Grade
IOWA and CogAt testing will start Monday, April 19th; testing will run from April 19th through April 23rd.
  • Testing will begin first thing in the morning. Please try to have your children here on time. Also, please schedule doctor appointments for other days.
  • Do all you can to ensure your child relaxes and eats a healthy dinner the night before the test.
  • Please also ensure that they have plenty of sleep.
  • Start the test day off with a nutritious breakfast.
  • We've reminded our students that they need to do their best and that the IOWA and CogAt are tools for parents and teachers to help students be successful in school.

We do our best to eliminate anxiety and create a positive, stress-free test-taking environment. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Rachel Nunez. We are here to help. Thank you for your support!
