Dear St. Cecilia Families and Friends,

We are sorry you are receiving this email a day later than we originally promised. We had some technical difficulties with the recording of Thursday evening's Zoom meeting and being able to share it with everyone that caused our delay in following up. Please note the first two minutes of the meeting unfortunately did not save, but the remainder of the meeting and question and answer session are complete.

Thank you to all who joined our Returning To School Plan Zoom presentation and question and answer session Thursday afternoon.

It was great seeing so many familiar faces and so many new families as well. With over 330 families attending the Zoom it was a testament to the strength of our St. Cecilia Catholic School community and the importance of the education, health, and safety of our children and whole community.

Thank you for the opportunity to talk with you all in that format, and for all of the questions, and feedback during last night's meeting and through the questions form for the Returning To School Plan.

As we discussed, one of the main points of clarification from our original document published earlier this week is that families who are not comfortable with sending their child(ren) to in-person school will have the option to select a remote learning option for their children at home. We are asking families who would like to participate in the remote learning option to fill out a form by Friday, July 31, 2020.

We have published an Addendum to our Returning To School Plan that you can view here with more information. The addendum is intended to further clarify our plans for returning to school, and does not reflect a change to the previously communicated plans.

As part of our Returning To School plan we have created this page on our school website that will host our plan document, any addendum's, and additional communications.

We are also still compiling and working on our FAQ document that we will publish in the next few days. Many of the questions that were the most frequently asked were addressed in Thursday's Zoom, and can be found on the recording linked above.

Thank you again for your continued support, patience, and trust. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions.

Warm regards and blessings,
St. Cecilia Catholic School
