Don't forget to turn in your pink stewardship card this weekend if you want to CONTINUE OR ARE INTERESTED in a ministry involved in parish life, faith formation or social outreach. Please use the card to indicate which ministries you would like to volunteer for and return the cards in the collection basket this weekend or next weekend. Extra booklets and cards are available in the Gathering Space.

The Fair Trade Ministry will be selling Coffee, Chocolates, Bread & Bakery Items 
Bridge Bread of St. Louis provides opportunities for the homeless by training their workers and helps establish a positive work history to use as a bridge to more traditional employment. HOPE FOR THE JOURNEY
Wednesday, August 21
2:00 & 7:00 PM in the St. Clare Library
Hope for the Journey is a ministry reaching out to anyone that has experienced the loss of a loved one, recent or not. We meet for conversation, suggested reading, encouragement, prayer and to walk this journey with you. 
The parish office will be closed on Friday, August 23 for a staff retreat day. Please keep us in your prayers!
Clothing and Small Household Items Drive
Help us raise funds for our youth group trip to the National Catholic Youth Conference. 
We will accept: Men’s, women’s and children’s clothing and shoes. Hats, mittens, scarves, ties, and socks. Towels, sheets, blankets, pillows, curtains, and tablecloths. Purses, wallets, backpacks and bags.
We cannot accept:Mattresses, baby gear, appliances, furniture, auto parts, building materials, cleaning products, tires, flammable materials, tube TVs.
NO drop offs in advance, please.
BAPTISM CLASS
Sunday, August 25 at 1:30 in the Church Library
This class is for parents that are expecting their first child or have not attended a Baptism class at St. Clare Parish. Please call the parish office to register.

High school youth from any parish or any faith are welcome to St. Clare Youth Group any time. We meet on Sunday nights in the Youth Room on the lower level of St. Clare School and also play
games in the school gym.
