February is a very busy month at St. Cyril.
Class skates continue and we keep serving up hot chocolate and cookies. Remember that the hot
chocolate and cookies are a treat and not a replacement for a snack. Please know that all food served by parent council is nut-free but we do know there are other allergies/or dietary restrictions. Should your child have allergies you may pack something for them so they can still participate in the fun. Please make arrangements with your child's teacher and the parent volunteers will be sure to handout the snack you provide to your child.
Our 12 committee members wear many different hats on parent council and each of them help to fill in the gaps when needed. Participation is critical to planning events and we need parents from the community to come to forward to help our committee leads. If you are interested in joining a committee to help us plan events and initiatives, please join us for a meeting and speak to
a committee lead.
Can't join us for a meeting? Please email us at stcyril.cspc@tcdsb.org and let us know which committee you are interested in helping will and we will put you in touch with the member.

Calling All Volunteers
Volunteers are an essential part of helping our school activities run smoothly and effectively. The
volunteer survey lists various events where we are in need of volunteers as well as general volunteer opportunities that are available throughout the year. These opportunities can be as little as a couple of hours while others can span over a few weeks/months. The survey will give you an
idea of the anticipated time commitment for most events/volunteer opportunities available. We encourage you to fill out the survey if you haven't already. We value your feedback and thank you for your time!
