November 2019
We have gotten off to a wonderful start. The Welcome Fair was a huge success and was a kick start to the school year. Thanks to all the organizers and volunteers!

The yard redevelopment is now complete. This project jointly funded by the City of Toronto and the school board has been an amazing addition to the school yard. We are so happy to see teachers have classes outside and the students enjoying the space.

Spirit Wear

Forms will be sent home in November to purchase St Cyril Panthers Spirit Wear items (t-shirts, hoodies) through  Cash Online . Both t-shrits and hoodies can be worn as part of the uniform this year! More details will be communicated in the coming weeks and sample sizes will be available during the parent-teacher interviews.

Thank you to the parent community who have donated to the St Cyril Foundation. Your donation dollars are already hard at work enriching students' school experience by providing financial support for:
  • Student Agendas - Providing students in Grades 1-8 with an agenda is a crucial tool for parent/teacher communication and teaching organization and responsibility.
  • Buses for the Cross-Country meets
  • Scientists in School
*If you have not yet donated and would like to do so, we gladly accept donations year-round. You can donate in any of the following 3 ways:
  • Write a cheque payable to St Cyril Catholic School Foundation and submit to your child's teacher.
  • Donate through United Way or Benevity company sponsored programs. If your company matches your United Way or Benevity donation, consider choosing St Cyril School Foundation (Charity # 856362348RR0001) and possibly double the donation.
  • To inquire about e-transfer directly to the CSPC account, please contact Tara Baker at

Other Important Items

Leftover Hallowe'en Candy
Please bring in any hard candy from Hallowe'en as St Cyril will be donating it to Dr. Simone at Canadian Food for Children. The hard candy gets the salivary glands working so the malnutrition kids can start to eat. Please drop off hard candy to the office by November 6th. Thank you for supporting this initiative!
