In the season of Lent, Youth in grades 6th-12th gather to discuss Scripture through the lens of Discernment, bringing all our questions, ideas, and ponderings about who God is and where we belong in the world.
EPISCOPAL YOUTH COMMUNITY (EYC)

5:30-6 p.m. Dinner in Sumners Hall, Third Floor
6-7 p.m. Meeting, Room 170
Students in grades 6-12 are encouraged to join us for community building, fellowship, games, and silliness until we wrap up with a short prayer practice and devotional at 7 p.m.

MINISTRY HIGHLIGHT: USHERS
Join us in serving the congregation during worship times! Ushers welcome parishioners and distribute worship bulletins to them. We also help with plate collections during the offertory. Volunteers are needed for both the 9 and 11:15 a.m. services. Training for new and current Ushers will be held Saturday, March 23. To learn more or attend this training contact ushers@stdave.org.

APPLICATION GRANTS DUE MARCH 8
St. David’s Episcopal Church has a long history of – and deep commitment to – helping people in need in the Austin community. As part of these ongoing efforts, St. David’s distributes annual grants of $10,000 to support non-profit organizations that serve those in need and disadvantaged populations in Austin and Travis County.
St. David’s Grants Committee for Community Outreach (GCCO) is accepting grant applications until March 8.

Sunday, March 10, 10 a.m., Vestry Conference Room All are invited to plan for a honey harvest, a Day School garden (flowers for the children, herbs for Chef Ray), a trip to Barking Dog Ranch, and an Earth Day celebration! The Rev. Angela Cortiñas will join us and we'd love to see you.
