All are invited to our annual Eucharist before the Austin PRIDE Parade. Celebrate and pray with and for our LGBTQ+ siblings. Afterward, walk alongside other affirming area Episcopal churches.


Free garage parking for those attending worship. Bring a photo of your license plate to the Front Desk before worship to validate parking.

ORAL HISTORY PROJECT ST. DAVID'S LGBTQ+ PARISHIONERS

Sunday, Aug. 11

Tate Philpott will present the research she has conducted through her summer internship at St. David’s, documenting the oral histories of LGBTQ+ parishioners. Come hear about the project, what she’s learned about the histories of members of our parish community, and how you can get involved volunteering with and becoming a part of the St. David’s Archive.

Kids are invited to wear swim gear to church on Welcome Home Sunday! We will have an inflatable water slide on the Labyrinth as part of our "Last Splash" celebrating the end of summer.

LITERARY FIGURES IN THE ANGLICAN TRADITION

The Anglican Tradition is rich with renowned literary figures such as C.S. Lewis, T.S. Eliot, Christina Rossetti, and Madeline L'Engle. The Rev. Dr. Nathan Jennings, professor at Seminary of the Southwest, will lead us in this two-part series exploring their lives and writings.

St. David’s Scriptural Foundations is a two-year certificate program that provides an in-depth exploration of the Old and New Testaments considering their historical contexts, literary characteristics, and relevance for today.
