All are invited to our annual Eucharist before the Austin PRIDE Parade. Celebrate and pray with and for our LGBTQ+ siblings. Afterward, walk alongside other affirming area Episcopal churches.


Free garage parking for those attending worship. Validate parking at the Front Desk after the service to park in the garage for the parade.

ORAL HISTORY PROJECT ST. DAVID'S LGBTQ+ PARISHIONERS

Sunday, Aug. 11

Tate Philpott will present the research she has conducted through her summer internship at St. David’s, documenting the oral histories of LGBTQ+ parishioners. Come hear about the project, what she’s learned about the histories of members of our parish community, and how you can get involved volunteering with and becoming a part of the St. David’s Archive.

Parish lunch to follow in Sumners Hall

During worship, the St. David's Grants Committee will recognize three non-profits awarded $10,000 grants. We will also have backpack blessings and bless the books donated to our July Book Drive.


After the service, a free lunch will be served in Sumners Hall. Families head down to the Labyrinth for a splash party. Kids are welcome to bring swim gear and towels to church. Hope to see you there!

Arbor Terrace Monthly Brunch: Join an established volunteer team preparing and serving a meal to residents at Arbor Terrace, a Foundation Communities supportive housing property for single adults in Southeast Austin.

TRINITY CENTER EXTENDING HOURS VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We’re thankful for Trinity Center expanding their hours during the hottest days of the year. They’re now open to serve our unhouse neighbors 9 a.m.-6 p.m. M-F until the end of September.

LITERARY FIGURES IN THE ANGLICAN TRADITION

The Anglican Tradition is rich with renowned literary figures such as C.S. Lewis, T.S. Eliot, Christina Rossetti, and Madeline L'Engle. The Rev. Dr. Nathan Jennings, professor at Seminary of the Southwest, will lead us in this two-part series exploring their lives and writings.

St. David’s Scriptural Foundations is a two-year certificate program that provides an in-depth exploration of the Old and New Testaments considering their historical contexts, literary characteristics, and relevance for today.
