ORAL HISTORY PROJECT

Tate Philpott will present the research she has conducted through her summer internship at St. David’s, documenting the oral histories of LGBTQ+ parishioners. Come hear about the project, what she’s learned about the histories of members of our parish community, and how you can get involved volunteering with and becoming a part of the St. David’s Archive.

TRINITY CENTER EXTENDING HOURS VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We’re thankful for Trinity Center expanding their hours during the hottest days of the year. They’re now open to serve our unhouse neighbors 9 a.m.-6 p.m. M-F until the end of September.

LITERARY FIGURES IN THE ANGLICAN TRADITION

The Anglican Tradition is rich with renowned literary figures such as C.S. Lewis, T.S. Eliot, Christina Rossetti, and Madeline L'Engle. The Rev. Dr. Nathan Jennings, professor at Seminary of the Southwest, will lead us in this two-part series exploring their lives and writings.

These events are organized by Austin-Area EpiscoPals, a community of 20-/30-somethings who navigate life and faith in the Episcopal church together. Members attend different churches but are supported by the Young Adult Ministry of St. David's.
