Divine Mercy Sunday has been designated by Pope John Paul II as the first Sunday after Easter. St. Sister Faustina was given this devotion in order to pray for sinners and the dying. Due to our parishes’ custom of holding First Holy Communion Service on this same Sunday, we are praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet before the 5:30 Mass Saturday April 15th. Please join us to pray

OPPORTUNITIES TO GROW IN YOUR FAITH

The North Central Vicariate Council of Catholic Women (NCVCCW) and the ladies of St. Mary’s in Carlyle welcome all ladies to the NCVCCW Spring Meeting & Day of Reflection. This event will be April 26 from 8:30am - 2:30pm in the St. Mary’s Parish Center cafeteria. Celia Kannall, Sr. Cheryl Kemner and Janice Wiegmann will be speaking. The cost is $15 and includes lunch. Plan to join your sister in Christ for a joyful, inspiring and spiritual day. The sign-up forms are available at your local sodality president.

The Diocese of Belleville Young Adults are having a social at Sure Shot in Mascoutah at 6:00 PM on Saturday, May 13th. An hour of axe-throwing has been booked. The entrance fee is $10 per person, and axe-throwing is $15 per person. All other activities are free once inside.
