Confirmation Mass This Sunday

This Sunday, February 28th, during the 11 AM Mass, 73 youth from our parish will be receiving the sacrament of Confirmation. Congratulations to all the teens!

In order to ensure social distancing, Mass attendance will be restricted to the candidate, their sponsor and their parents. The Mass will be livestreamed if other family members or parishioners would like to participate from home.

Rite of Election

We congratulate our RCIA Elect, Ryan Brock, who celebrated the Rite of Election on Sunday, February 21st. Thank you to Jeff Westlund, for supporting his journey as his sponsor. During the Rite of Election, those awaiting baptism sign the Book of the Elect. It was a beautiful Liturgy of the Word with his name called, and officially recognized by our Church as our beloved future member. Please continue to pray for Ryan as he journeys with us through Lent.

Mass Intentions

What does it mean to have a Mass “offered” for someone? An individual may ask a priest to offer a Mass for several reasons. For example, in thanksgiving, for the intentions of another person (such as on a birthday), or, as is most common, for the repose of the soul of someone who has died.

Ministry Minute!

Did you know that we have a Soles4Souls ministry that collects shoes dropped off at the church and donates them? Those shoes are donated to people in need as well as repurposed to make more shoes and help small businesses!

Reflecting God's Love & Mercy

Spring Campaign

Pray for your local pregnancy help center: for those who answer calls from women considering abortion, those who provide ultrasounds, and those who personally help mothers prepare to parent or place for adoption.

The Coalition for Life of Iowa is looking for people to commit to pray in front of Planned Parenthood for 40 Days for Life campaign. Sign up for an hour any day or night! The campaign draws attention to the evil of abortion through prayer, fasting, peaceful vigil, and community outreach. The spring campaign continues through March 28.

Knights of Columbus Scholarship Award

Applications for the $500 Knights of Columbus Scholarship Award Program are due Monday, March 1st! The scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school senior who is a member of the parish.
