St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish
Bringing People Into A Growing Relationship With Jesus Christ
Seventeenth Sunday of Ordinary Time
On what do we put value? This weekend God praises Solomon for seeing how longevity, riches, property, and revenge are so much less important than the gift of an understanding heart, to know what is right, and then to have the ability to do it. The Gospel parables tell of people who sold everything they had, to gain what was of greater value. What is of greatest value is the need to trust in God’s plan for salvation, and that for those who believe, all things will work together unto good. How important that is to remember when we face difficulties and challenges in life. Trust in God will carry us to glory!
Join us in person or on-line this weekend!
The only thing certain during the "coronavirus era" is that everything is continuously changing! We, at St. EAS are not an exception to that rule! Now that we've reopened the church, we continue to assess how the systems we've put in place are working out. Since we haven't reached capacity at Masses and our crowds are manageable, we are considering making changes to the reservation system. We want the worship experience to be enjoyable here and are striving to do that while keeping you safe.
For this weekend, we are continuing to require reservations for Sunday Mass to ensure physical distancing in the pews. We hope you'll join us! There is a seat ready for you!

Arts and Environment Team Help
Our Arts and Environments team is a big part of our parish. A team often behind the scenes, we don’t even realize all they take care of. They are responsible for making sure the church is decorated and changed for our Liturgical seasons. The team also helps to support our Faith Formation team at bigger Masses for Confirmation and First Communion. They are looking for a few new members to the team to help with prep, planning, shopping and decorating throughout the year. Ideally a team member would be able to be at most monthly meetings. The team meets one time a month for an hour to plan with occasional working meetings for decorating or updating things. What a great opportunity for a creative gift to shine! If you have questions or are interested, please reach out to Kelli at or 319-393-3778.
