St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish
Bringing People Into A Growing Relationship With Jesus Christ
In the Gospel, Jesus says that unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains just a grain of wheat. In this week’s message, we look at our need to die to ourselves in order to live for God. We must sacrifice to gain the life God wants to give us. Join us at Mass to hear more!

You're invited to use the Message Series Study Guide to reflect on this weekend's message:
Easter Sunday Masses

We've seen a steady increase in Mass attendance over the last few weeks, which is great! In order to ensure safe social distancing during Mass, we've decided to add an additional Easter Sunday Mass and adjust Mass times.

Easter Sunday Masses will now be at
7, 9 and 11 AM.

Registrations will be required at all Easter Sunday Masses. You can make reservations on our Eventbrite page
Are you new to our church, or curious about what St. E's has to offer? Join us for our DiscoverE's New Member Welcome Event on Sunday, March 21st, at 12:30 PM. You can learn more about DiscoverE’s and register here: www.seasp.org/join-our-parish. If you have any questions, please contact Kelli DeVries at [email protected].
Lenten Reconciliation Services

Lent is a time to repent from your sins and heal your relationship with God. You are invited to participate in the sacrament of reconciliation prior to Easter.

Father Gary will be available for individual reconciliations on March 23rd and 24th from 6:00 to 7:30 PM.
On March 31st, from 5:30 to 6:30 PM, a priest from another parish will be here to celebrate individual reconciliations.
There will also be a Lenten Reconciliation Service on March 27th, at 10:30 AM.

If those times do not work, you can contact Father Gary to set up a time that works for you.
PRAY
On Friday, March 19th at 5:30 PM, we will be having daily Mass for the Solemnity of St. Joseph. Stations of the Cross will be after Mass.
Check out the Shadow Stations of the Cross that the youth in our parish recorded! We encourage you to use them to pray this week if you won't be attending Stations of the Cross in person.
Triduum Adoration Sign Up

There are still many slots open for the Holy Week adoration that will begin after the Holy Thursday Mass and go until Holy Saturday Vigil Mass.
Please sign up on the board in the narthex or email [email protected].

CRS Rice Bowls - Community in Madagascar

Poor nutrition can lead to devastating long-term consequences for individuals, communities and entire countries. That’s why communities must work together to ensure that all children have access to better food and nutrition. New planting and cooking techniques are helping any communities in Madagascar improve the health and wellbeing of their children. How does your community work together for the good of others? Visit crsricebowl.org to learn more.

Spring Campaign
During these forty days let us pray for those who work in the abortion industry, and for those who have repented of committing abortions and have resolved to defend life.

The Coalition for Life of Iowa is looking for people to commit to pray in front of Planned Parenthood for 40 Days for Life campaign. Sign up for an hour any day or night! The campaign draws attention to the evil of abortion through prayer, fasting, peaceful vigil, and community outreach. The spring campaign continues through March 28.
