St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish
Bringing People Into A Growing Relationship With Jesus Christ
|
|
Many of the greatest saints were like us and we have it within us to be like them.
The gospel this weekend reminds us that mo matter how many times we may have said “No” to the will of God, by His grace we still have a chance to say “Yes.”

PRAYZfamilies -
It's Children's Ministry - Redesigned!
While the pandemic is preventing us from having PRAYZkids, the PRAYground and Children's Liturgy of the Word, it can't stop families from praising together! Sign your family up TODAY to this new Children's Ministry option.
Families who sign up to be a PRAYZfamily will receive a "Celebrating Sunday for Catholic Families" book for free! The book will guide you through:
- a weekly Sunday passage from scripture
- a short scripture reflection
- two conversation questions, and
- a suggested activity
You'll also be included in a private PRAYZfamilies Facebook group where we'll share about the conversations and Sunday activity experience.
Books will be available for pick up after Masses on Sunday, as well as the Parish Office.

Elections Are Approaching - Plan to VOTE!
It is the responsibility of all Catholics to vote. Catholic voters should use Catholic teaching to examine candidates’ positions on issues and should consider candidates’ integrity, philosophy, and performance. According to the USCCB, it is important for all citizens “to see beyond party politics, to analyze campaign rhetoric critically, and to choose their political leaders according to principle, not party affiliation or mere self-interest” (USCCB, Living the Gospel of Life, no. 33).
The following link was provided by the Social Justice Committee. It connects you to a video, produced by USCCB, that summarizes four principles that highlight several themes of Catholic social teaching for special consideration before voting. These include: human rights and responsibilities, respect for work and the rights of workers, care for God’s creation, and the preferential option for the poor and vulnerable.
