Many Cultures. One Family.

We had a great start to the new year at St. Frances Cabrini Academy!

While the snow delayed our kick-off to Catholic Schools Week, we still managed to fill our week with big and small celebrations. We are proud to be a Catholic school that is truly catholic (universal).

We are Thankful for our School

Catholic Schools Week was a celebration of our families, students, staff, faith, and community! During the week, our students reflected on the reasons they appreciate their school. Each class wrote letters to a parent or guardian to send home. One student wrote, "I am grateful for all the work you do so that I can go to school." Another said they are grateful because "I get to learn about God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit."

We enjoyed a multitude of activities to celebrate, including a student PJ day, a teacher rock-paper-scissors contest, and a planting activity. On Thursday, students were also invited to wear clothes that reflected the many cultures we have represented at Cabrini. We closed out the week with lunch with our pastors and an all-school mass.

100 Days Smarter

When Mrs. Brooks wears her pink tutu, everyone knows it is the 100th day of school! We are proud of what our students have learned and how they have grown.

Cabrini Parent Organization

Our 2026-2030 Strategic Plan includes a goal to revive the Cabrini Parent Organization. We are well on our way to achieving this goal thanks to the leadership of President Windy Williams, parent to 8th-grade student Cornelius. The CPO has had several successful bake sales, celebrated our teachers during Catholic Schools Week with a luncheon (pictured here), and has plans for both a tamale sale and a read-a-thon later this year. We are so grateful for all of the parents who have supported its efforts and reinvigorated this important part of our community!

More Catholic Schools Week Fun!
